Our Approach

Our approach is simple

Equip you with the meeting and facilitation skills you need and provide facilitation when the situation calls for an expert touch.

We approach relationships in four phases based on David Cooperider’s Appreciative Inquiry model. Each phase can be as quick as a 30-minute meeting for smaller requests like basic meeting coaching or up to a month for larger services like expert facilitation or in-house workshops.

Discovery

We’ll meet with you to learn about your or your team’s unique meeting needs, which may include interviews or other forms of data gathering.

Design

Based on what we learn in the discovery phase, we’ll design a unique service offering or package. Depending on who’s leading the meeting, we’ll design the basic agenda or coach you through the process.

Delivery

Whether it’s handing off your agenda or delivering your meeting, we commit to being focused, timely and energized during the time we have with you and your team.

Destination

We work with you post-event to review meeting outputs, and as it’s helpful, we can support follow-up by consolidating findings, creating written reports, and coaching to help the work move forward.

Our Framework

The MeetingMakers Framework is how we help you determine the best type of meeting to have based on your team, project or organization's needs and challenges. During the discovery phase, we listen to determine where we think your team is in their journey and explore the options available in your timeframe so you can decide what will work best for you.
