Facilitators are trained in group process, time management, experiential learning, and workplace psychology. None of these skills should be exclusive to facilitators—meeting skills are life skills that belong in the hands of every professional.

MeetingMakers is both a facilitation practice and a community. As a practice, we offer workshops, one-on-one training and facilitation. We partner with our clients to design and deliver inclusive, engaging and productive meetings with lasting impact. As a community, we offer training through our Academy, discussions through our online community, and provide ongoing learning through our podcast.

Once Upon a Marker

MeetingMakers founder Lauren Green started her professional journey as a performing artist. After transitioning from the stage to the corporate world, she became fascinated by how organizations work and workplace dynamics.

Lauren made a name for herself as a visual notetaker, specializing in the use of visuals to support group processes. She founded Dancing with Markers, LLC in 2017—a team of visual notetakers who specialize in the art of meeting and conference visualization. As a visual notetaker, Lauren partnered with many facilitators and learned that facilitation is not a magic trick—it’s a skill set that individuals, teams and organizations can use to work more effectively, meet their goals, and serve their customers and communities.
